She was a Gary resident for 69 years. She was a preschool and substitute teacher for the Gary Community Schools. Doris was preceded in by death her fully June 5, 2015. She was a Gary resident for over 60 years.

Laura was a graduate of Roosevelt High School and retired from the Gary Community School Corporation as a security guard. She was also a certified beautician for many years. Illinois, the only child of the late Henry and Cassie Richmond. The family moved to Gary, Indiana and at an early age Margie accepted Christ and became a faithful member of First A.M.E. Church.

She was a member of the Elite Matrons and the Morgan Lemmie Lemmie Morgan Jr. was born January 22, 1932 MMk in Auburn, AL to the late Lemmie and Nancy Morgan. He exchanged time for eterni-ViK ty on June 12, 2015. He leaves to cherish fond memories his BDBI loving wife Lizzie Mae; Sisters I Eva Mae Williams of Auburn, fHL. I Al Annie Ruth Morgan of Hl Gary, IN and Mattie (Monroe) Vl Evans of Syracruse, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

On February 16, 1946 in Valparaiso, Margaret married Howard A. Oelling who preceded her in death in 2000. She is survived by her children, Ronald A. (Mildred) Oelling, Nancy (Larry) Jorgensen, and Joe (Jan) Oelling, all of Valparaiso; daughter-in-law, Deb Oelling, Valparaiso; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; and special nephew, Don Woods. He was an avid outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, and gardening. He passed along his love of the outdoors, especially duck hunting and fly fishing, to several of his sons.

Kevin was known for his warmth, generosity, humility, and unbending integrity. He was quick with a joke and treated everyone he met with kindness and respect. His friends and family will continue to love him dearly, and he will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and human being. He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia; his sons Ken, Sean (Teresa), Kevin (Ashley), and Patrick Grindlay; his daughter Cathy; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Being seventh of ten children. Affectionately known by his family and friends as "Jeff, Honey and Daddy-O, and He was married to his first wife Essie Champion (deceased) in 1946 and to that union a daughter Gloria Franklin. Then he was married to Pearl Thomas in 1976 and was a step-dad to her boys Cleaster and Willie Thomas and Mclynnerd Bond (all deceased) Jeff served in the US Army in 1955. After an honorable discharge in 1957 he was employed by Inland Steel in East Chicago, IN with 32 years of service. Jeff was a person that was a jack of all trades.
