Too Blot Out the Sun - Chapter 5 - AvgClownEnthusiast1209 (2024)

Chapter Text

When Sun opened his eyes he found himself in an unusually bright place, the walls seemed to have been stained with bleach, the lights above were a piercing white, making Sun squint at them when he looked up. He looked at the floor and there were tiles as well. He looked to the side to see green chairs, he suddenly felt someone grab his hand.

He looked the other side to see Moon looking at him. His same red eyes and smile, with hsi same nightcap, and starry pants, same ruffles and bells. Sun was afraid that he had started to forget what his twin looked like, he had tried his best to grasp onto a small memory, btu it seemed to have faded during his time in the void.

He was afraid, but he felt calm for some reason. Moon gave him a warm and comforting smile, where he was. Wasn’t he in the void, alone, looking at the darkness, with nothing to comfort him but his thoughts. Where he was, this was so much brighter, and Moon’s smile was so much more comforting, then the abyss. But what if it was all pretend what if Moon was going to kill him here. What if Moon never loved this and this was all some twisted illusion. What if-

SUddenly he hears the door open and he snaps his head in the direction. Of the door creaking open. He looks to see a dark orange figure, with a mask on, with 9 Sun rays and smaller black ones popping in each gap of the orange rays. Piercing orange eyes gazing at him, with malicious intent. He wore a lab coat, white as the room. Sun gasped, his rays shrinking into his head.

This was Eclipse, this must be some other twisted up lab experiment, he was torturing him, he coudln;t tell what was real. Was this some form of reality? Was this just a hallucination? Was he going to die? Wa she still in the void, was this some dream? He could feel his breathing hitched as he felt Eclipse get closer, clipboard in hand. He feels Moon rubbing his back, why is his brother not more afraid, did he not know what Eclipse would do?!

“Welcome Sun and Moon.” Eclipse's cool voice forms behind the mask. Sun’s rays somehow disappear further within his head. “Who’s wanting to get the appointment first?” Sun gasps, what was Eclipse planning, he didn't know, he couldn’t tell, but by Eclipse’s eyes something horrible. Why weren’t they running, why wasn’t Moon trying to escape, why wasn;t he acting sarcastically, but just staring at Sun.

Sun's mind came to the conclusion. Moon was asking for more time, he was asking Sun to stall him, Sun could do that he was good at being a distraction so then Moon could take care of them, but could save them. They could be out of this nightmare, he wasn’t sure if this was real, but he rather get hit by his brother then be in the arms of Eclipse.

“I-I’ll go…” Sun raised his hand as he stood up. He looked back at Moon who looked at him proudly. Not saying a word, looking at him blankly.

“Well look at Sun go, being the selfless brother” Eclipse gave a small chuckle, that sent shivers down Sun’s spine. Eclipse led him into a room, it had a chair that looked very similar to a dentist's chair. Eclipse set him down, and the chair was unnaturally cool to his metal layers. Eclipse practically shoved him in the seat. THen started strapping chains to him. Sun felt a sense of panic wash over him. It was like being back in the void, his breath started to go faster, as he struggled against the chain.

“Don’t do that.” Eclipse gave a low warning, he turned around getting something, Sun tried his best not to struggle against the heavy chains, but it was almost impossible how uncomfortable it was. “You’ll be alright Sun…” Eclipse turns as he faces Sun, with the blue mask still on like some twisted doctor. Eclipse then stuck something sharp into Sun’s arms, he gave a yelp, but it wasn’t that bad.

Before the burning sensation came. It crawled through the part of his arm that had been poked. He looked down to see some sort of needle poking under his metal layering, and some tube that was pumping something into him. The burning sensation spread up his arm, crawling its way up, like fire ants. Then spreading into his hand, he gave a gasp, each time he moved it burned more. It spread to his chest and into his stomach. Spreading to hush head and other arm. He gasped as the burning sensation consumed him. He could feel every joint in his body burn up, he was being burned from the inside out. It hurt…so much… He tried gasping for air, but it didn't help.

“Do you feel a little uncomfortable?” Eclipse mocked him. “It’s going to get a whole lot worse…” Eclipse snapped on some blue gloves as he grabbed something from his little table. It was a scalpel, a sharp one, a dirty one.

Sun shuddered as the cold blade met with his hot skin. Then he felt it cut through one of the places where it was bolted down, it slipped under the cracks and started to cut him. Sun gasped, tears pricking the corner of his eyes. Eclipse looked like the Sun with malicious eyes, most likely a threatening smile under his mask.

Suddenly Eclipse grabs a metal plate and rips it off. Sun screams as pain erupts from his arm. He tried to pull away but the chains held him down. “Calm down.” eclipse coos. Sun looked to see Eclipse grabbing some wire cutters before snipping something off. He couldn’t move his hand. Yet it still hurts. It was on fire. He swore he could feel the metal starting to melt. But it didn't, so Eclipse continued.

Sun was hyperventilating as Eclipse Continued on with the procedure, he could feel his body becoming dissected, Oil spilling from places. Leaking onto the floor. He could see that Eclipse was tearing him apart. Trying to move onto Sun’s other hand. Sun struggled and kicked his legs for Eclipse or leave. Tears heavily streaming. He screamed and screamed. Eclipse ignored him. Slamming his fist to Sun’s face.

He gasped as he could feel Eclipse cutting wires form that hand as well, pain exploding. Sun could start to see colors, purple, green, blue. He gasped for air once more. It wasn’t helping. He swore that Eclipse was doing something to his feet, but he couldn’t see, he felt something poking him down there, pain blooming. He tried his best to move. But he had lost control of his body.

Suddenly he saw that Eclipse was taking off Sun's casing from his chest. He continued to scream louder, his voice box starting to break. He could feel icy coldness touch his insides. Eclipse slowly picked at the wires and casing in the inside. Only getting Sun sobbing for release.

Eclipse finally found the thing he wanted. He grabbed one of the surrounding structures that kept his core safe. They were built like ribs around it to keep it safe. Before Eclipse put his hand in there. Sun gave a gasp. Before Eclipse snapped on of the structure. Sun gave another scream. Begging and crying, he was blacking in and out. Pain blooming and exploding in his chest. Colors popping up. His voice box slowly breaking, and growing staticky.

Suddenly he felt Eclipse grab onto the core, he once again gasped, he tried to pull away but he couldn’t. He could feel Eclipse twist it around. Sun cried and cried, maybe death would be better than staying here. Maybe the video would be better. He wanted it back, he dind;t want to be here anymore. He couldn’t be here anymore. He feels one last yank from Eclipse before his systems shut down.

When Sun opens his eyes again he’s shaking, he’s breathing heavily. With the petal plates still pricking at him, he looks around to find himself right next to Moon, who was giving him a nice warm smile. He looks to the front to see Eclipse in the same doctor outfit. Did his turn finish? Was Moon through planning…?

“Welcome Sun and Moon.” Eclipse says, Sun froze up, he had said this before. “Who’s wanting to go first?” Sun grips onto his chair, a death grip as he starts to shake. He couldn’t do that again. Not again. Not again. What happened. Was it some dream…He couldn’t do it once more. He would lose it. He remembered how the burning spread through his body how Eclipse slowly killed him.

He looks at the moon and Eclipse, who are still looking at home. He was supposed to make the choice. This was just cruel. Sun looks away, trying to hold himself. “I would like to go second…” Sun mumbles. He hopes that when he looks away Moon won’t see how ashamed he was. He then heard a gasp as Moon got pulled away. He looked at Moon and saw a betrayed look on his face, Eclipse was taking him away.

“Looks like Sun is feeling selfish today” Eclipse gives out a low chuckle before putting Moon into the operation room. Sun gasps as he hears Moon start to struggle, he could hear Eclipse make the same promises under his breath Moon. He could hear Moon struggling and giving pained yelps. He felt guilt cram into his stomach, before he heard his brother screams. Sun tensed, trying to cover his sound receptors, but it didn't help.

The screams got louder he could hear Moon struggling against the chains as he started to beg for it to stop. It was terrifying. All Sun could think that this was his fault for making his brother feel this way. Why couldn't he be selfless… He was always so selfish. He could hear that Moon’s voice started to crack, he could hear some ‘snaps’ from Eclipse most likely breaking his endoskeleton.

The screams went on for so long, Sun started abnging his head on the wall to get it to stop. He couldn’t do anything. Because he caused his brother this pain. He tried his best to distract himself. He tried singing the little song about being hopeful ' ‘The Sun will be out tomorrow” but the screams always grounded him to reality.

He shut his eyes tightly hoping he could be back home, back home where it was safe. Safe in Moon’s arms, be safe forever. Hide away. He tried to imagine Moon holding him, but the screams in the back stopped him from fantasizing.

He heard the scream start to dwindle before it disappeared. He slowly opened his eyes, to see the Moon right next to him. Sitting down, like nothing had happened. He looked up to see Eclipse in the same doctor’s outfit, with a malicious look in his eyes.

“Welcome Sun and Moon.” He says once more. “Who wants to go get an appointment first?”

Lunar watched in horror as all of this was happening. He looks back up at Eclipse who was looking proudly at what was happening. Sun was being tortured, gaslit, it was horrifying. Lunar had seen a monster, and that was his brother. Sun was a selfless person, Lunar could see the third round starting. Sun gave himself up for it. He didn't want his brother to be hurt.

“See this Lunar.” Eclipse says a bit too proudly. “This is what I'll do for the Moon. Once I break his spirit, he;ll fall soon. Sun fell so much quicker. He’s weak” Eclipse turns away. Lunar felt shock overtake him again. He was planning to do this to the Moon as well. Maybe his brother was the real monster…

“You can’t do that!” Lunar spat out, before Eclipse neck snapped in Luanr’s directions. Lunar gasped as he covered his mouth. Hsi brother didn't like someone fighting back. He didn't like anyone fighting back.

“Why can’t I…” eclipse's voice got low and dangerous, the same insane look in the eyes of the fake Eclipse. The one that was torturing the Sun right now. What if Eclipse did the same thing to him? Make him do all those horrible simulations.

“I-It’s…” Lunar couldn't make any excuse, that wouldn't appease his brother. Other than that, it was cruel and inhumane to do this. To anyone. To one’s abuser, or an innocent. He heard Sun’s screams in the background and sobs.

“You don’t tell me what I can and cannot do…” Eclipse gave a low warning. He lifted his hand up, Lunar gasped as he turned away. Eclipse was going to hurt him. He turned away so if Eclipse did hit him it wouldn't be directed at his face exactly. “I made you, you follow orders.” Eclipse grabs Luna's arms before pushing him to the ground. “Understood…?” Lunar shakes his head vigorously before Eclipse turns away.

Lunar gasped, hyperventilated. He could hear Sun's screams in the background. He had to fix this. He has to. He couldn’t just leave Sun there. Maybe his brother was wrong, maybe there was more to Sun and Moon than his brother claimed. Sun was so selfless. Even if it was all a fake. He had to help Moon. Eclipse… Eclipse would hurt him, he could tell. If he was going to hurt Lunar what was stopping him from doing something else to him.

So Lunar did just that, he ended up managing to log into his mindscape, he looked to see clouds, he looked around. For Moon, he saw a figure laying down, he could hear it struggling, flinching and practically sobbing. Lunar slowly approached them.

“H-hello?” Lunar asked slowly. Moon snapped his head in the direction. His red eyes pierced into Lunar’s soul. He took a step back, was Moon going to hurt him? “I wanted to see you…” Lunar said as he slowly stepped closer. “I want to be on your side…” He says simply. He remembered how the Sun crippled and sobbed, and did anything for the simulation Moon.

“How do I know this isn’t some sort of trick…” Moon grumbled, as he struggled to stand up, shaking with each movement he made. “How do I know that Eclipse didn't send you as some cheap prank, get my hopes up then crush them before my very eyes.” Moon glared at the Lunar.

“I’ll do anything! I’ll turn off the pain report for you. I don’t know how to do that, but I can ask Monty? Right, that's your friend's name? I can do that! I’ll do it!” Lunar promised. “I Saw what my brother really was… He’s a monster…” Lunar turned away, tears pricking his eyes. THe person he loved was a monster, hurting people. Torturing, for the fun of it.

Moon seemed ot tense as he approached Luna.r “DId you see my brother? Did you see him?” Moon asked. Lunar shakes his head. “I saw him… He’s hurting Sun, he's doing awful things to him.” Lunar confirmed. He watched as Moon’s face fell. “What did he do?” Moon asked, practically shaking Lunar. “He…” Lunar took a gulp he could throw up at the thought of what his brother did. “He’s stuck in a simulation. He’s a doctor, and you and him are patients. He had to choose who’ll get an appointment. It’s not an appointment… He’s tearing Sunpart in there, and once it’s over he has to choose again…” Luna gravely sighs. “It was awful…’ Suddenly he felt someone hug him. It was a strange feeling; he hasn't felt a hug like this. Eclipse gave him some, rarely but this one felt different.

“Thank you…” Moon says softly. “I am going to save us..” Moon promises, before falling down again. He gaps from the pain. “Now could you please go find Monty…”

Lunar gave a nod, as he left the mindscape, he made sure to look around before escaping to Monty's part of the Pizzaplex.

He had a mission to do.
