Something cool... Well I would like it if Ganondorf would be the main and last boss, that he also wears a cloack that works like Zelda's. When he's about to get defeated he sees no option less than to remove his cloack and turn into Ganon. And so the battles tension rises even higher. That would be awesome.

Sad thing: Hyrule getting flooded of course. Though chances are small, I think it would be really cool to see that.

That would be pretty far-fetched considering that Majora doesn't even exist in the Hyrule dimension and and its power was forever sealed in the mask . .

Hang on there-The happy mask salesman never says where he found the mask, and only travels to Termina, 'cos thats where the skull kid hides.

I doubt, however, that the mask's is truley gone forever, specially since it could create its own dimensions (inside the moon) and re-incarnate itself into another life form, when the other body was destroyed-so it could stil be alive today-Everyone quake in fear!!

joking aside, i know that it doesnt seem plausable, but i only answered what the thread question asked me-what i would find cool in the new game, and you gotta admit that Midna's mask and the mm do look similar, and i honestly think that the similarity is deliberate.

Super Link... sorry, but that made me think of Link going super-saiyan and his hair poofing blonde and his biceps nearly ripping from his skin. XD

I hope the end of the game explains why Hyrule was flooded.

The idea of Zelda giving you her cloak, and Gannondorf taking his off, are two of the better fan-made story ideas I've heard. They are very creative and almost seem plausible. However, I'm sure we'll all be surprised. The flooding of Hyrule would be an amazing, solemn ending. I'm not so sure I'd want it though. It would make all of your efforts throughout the game seem in vein. I mean, you have to accomplish something, right? Still, I hope it happens.

See, that's the thing... some people would like it because it ties OoT and tWW together, and would be really interesting to see, but others think it wouldn't accomplish anything. In my opinion it would be a decent and accomplish-ish ending.

Well not unstopable, just that hed pwn everything and anything in his path that is an enemy.

I can just picture very clearly Zelda going through the same type of transformation as Link does in the trailer as she takes off the cloak... she bends down, cries out in pain and transforms into.... a cute little bunny!! Actually I have no idea what sort of animal she would become... maybe a hawk? But that would be a bit too much like ladyhawk I think.

Anyway I should get out of this forum, I haven't read any TP spoilers so far and this thread is very tempting!

PS: I don't actually know if that cloak is a cloak of truth that keeps her in human form, it's just an educated guess from the symbol on its back.

Link needs to die. I mean... sure, Link's a cool guy, but I want him dead. End of story. Since it's after Ocarina of Time and before The Wind Waker, Link's death would explain why the Master Sword rests in a place COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO THE TEMPLE OF TIME YOU SEE IN OCARINA OF TIME!

I mean, seriously... I went into that place in The Wind Waker and I was like WOOOOEEEE!!!! For a place that's been flooded for so many years, THIS PLACE'S GONE UNDER A FEW CHANGES!!! So yeh, if Link were to die in Twilight Princess, it could end as some village building a Temple to honour Link and the Master Sword... *remembers big Link statue in TWW and the big giant knights surrounding the Master Sword.*

But then, I'm quite sure Link is referred to as the Hero of Time in The WInd Waker, too, and unless Twilight Princess has some reference to Time Travel, or maybe the Link in TP is the same Link from OCARINA OF TIME - which is probable, since Link returns to childhood at the end of Ocarina of Time - then the Temple of Time just remade itself over the years it was flooded... Creepy.

woah there xerhik forge....link in TP is NOT NOT NOT NOT the same link as in Oot. link in Twilight Princess is raised in a village called toaru, and travels to hyrule because the village cheif has him go to this annual meeting or something in his stead. can't be the same link, and frankly, i'm glad it's not. and by the way, they arent going to keep the temple of time the same in one game from the next, because they were completely different games.

the statue of link is there because the world wasnt flooded until many generations after the link from Oot, and renevations were obviously made, and people honored the hero of time from legends. i hope this can explain to you why it was different.

also keep in mind that the graphical style and game style was different from OoT. for example, the stalfos knights in OoT were sword and shield warriors, whereas in TWW, they were brutes w/ clubs. however, they had the same name.
